Acceptance of applications for state scholarships
In accordance with bilateral agreements on cooperation in education and science concluded between the Latvian government and several countries, Latvia offers scholarships for foreign students, researchers and teachers to study, conduct research and participate in summer schools at Latvian higher education institutions (HEIs) in the academic year 2021/2022. So, the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia delegated the management of Latvian state scholarships to the State Education Development Agency (Valsts izglītības attīstības aģentūra - VIAA).
