On November 18-23, 2019, the scientific and practical conference "New modern approaches to the management of chronic cerebrovascular disorders" (Italy, Brescia) was held, in which the head of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of SamMI, Professor A.T. Jurabekova and assistant A. Samiev took part.
The conference was held in the congress hall of the AC Hotels Marriott, which included workshops, plenary lectures, plenary sessions, round tables and lectures on cerebrovascular diseases.
The conference was opened by Professor, Doctor of Medicine and Surgery Francesco Amenta, Chairman of the Center for Clinical Research, Coordinator of the Inter-University Research of the Department of Medicine and Public Health of the University of Camerino, Dean of Scientific Information and Continuing Medical Education. At the meetings, questions of the clinic, diagnosis, and modern treatment of cerebrovascular diseases in Italy, Spain were considered, the experience of managing patients with this pathology in these regions was discussed.
Also, during the meetings, attention was paid to the diagnosis and treatment of various forms of cerebrovascular diseases, including approaches to the treatment of vascular dementia, cognitive disorders of vascular origin, the importance of the functional brain pathways in this pathology, the rehabilitation and psychological aspects of cerebrovascular diseases and the prevention of this pathology.
Professor A.T. Dzhurabekova and A. Samiev reported the problem of cerebrovascular diseases of Samarkand region, concerning the features of the clinic and treatment. All conference participants actively participated in the discussion of reports, shared their experiences, sorted out debatable issues and received certificates at the end.
Following the results of the meeting, the moments of future cooperation were discussed.
