  In accordance with the regulations on clinical residency, the General requirements for the preparation of clinical residencies are determined by the Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 319 of December 18, 2009 "on improving the system of professional development and retraining of medical workers". Doctors are trained in clinical residency in accordance with the nomenclature of medical specialties approved by the Ministry of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, compiled in accordance with the curriculum and curriculum for each specialty, qualification requirements for a specialist.

  Work with clinical residents is carried out in the following areas:

  • Familiarization and educational work with the goals and conditions of training of undergraduate graduates in the clinical residency of the Samarkand state medical Institute;
  • participation in the development and approval of regulatory documents for clinical residency specialties and their continuous improvement;
  • organization of the educational process for clinical residents, quality control of education and training;
  • monitoring of employment to improve practical skills of all specialties of clinical residency;
  • organizing the involvement of well-known scientists and highly qualified specialists in the training of clinical residents;
  • creating conditions for increasing the scientific interest of clinical residents;
  • control and coordination of training of clinical residents in the departments of the Institute;
  • monitoring of employment of clinical residency graduates;
  • -organizing the study of students and offers and creating a database of jobs in the labor market in the regions of clinical residences;

  Functions of the Department for working with clinical (training) databases

  1. This regulation defines the procedure for organizing admission and training in clinical residency in medical clinical specialties.
  2. Clinical residency-a type of education that is part of the retraining system and is part of the multidisciplinary structure of continuing professional education of doctors.
  3. training of doctors in clinical residency is carried out according to the nomenclature of medical specialties approved by the Ministry of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in accordance with the curriculum and curriculum for any specialty, compiled on the basis of the requirements of the specialty imposed on the specialist.
  4. Medical institutions that train doctors in clinical residency are determined by the Ministry of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of::
    1. availability of appropriate highly qualified scientific and practical human resources that form scientific schools;
    2. the state of the material and technical base that allows for high-tech and qualified medical care;
    3. Availability of an educational program for training clinical residents approved in accordance with the established procedure by the Ministry of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
  5. Graduates of clinical residency are granted the right to practice in the specialty obtained in the course of training.
