HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT


  Samarkand State Medical Institute (hereinafter - SamMI) military department was founded on August 9, 1944 by order No. 1293/31 of the All-Union Higher School of the Soviet Socialist Republics. IN
  1947 graduated from the first medical reserve officers. In July 1992, in connection with the collapse of the USSR, by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the military department of SamMI was included in the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main purpose of the military department is to train reserve medical officers for the Armed Forces and units capable of performing the duties of doctors of medical units and institutions of a military unit under martial law. The activities of the department include plans for military training, curricula approved by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On general military service and military service" and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from
  October 9, 2017 No. 809 "On the" Regulations on military units of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan "and the training program for reserve officers from medical students for 2020, instructions from the Ministry of Defense, combat training and medical, military educational departments, organized on the basis of regulatory documents and orders.   The military department of SamMI operates on the basis of the staff number 25/057, approved by order of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 7 March 2018 21/01/671. In accordance with clause 6 of the Regulation and on the basis of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 25, 2018, the 7th, 10th quarter of the SamMI military department for 2 years a year, the 3rd and 4th courses of the SamMI among students of medical The faculty organized the training of reserve and reserve officers of the medical service in the specialty "901000 - Medical work in the army (general practice)". The military department accepts second-year students of the medical faculty (70 people, of which 10% are girls) who have passed the selection. Previously, the educational process at the military department of SamMI was carried out at the 4th and 5th courses on the basis of a joint decision of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 5, 2008 No. 12/230. The daily activities of the military department of SamMI are carried out on the basis of the schedule and mode of operation. The department has a day shift, and the teachers at the appointed time notify the high command and the garrison on duty. During lessons, teachers wear kits (jackets, field uniforms), and cadets wear a pixel uniform (sewn on their own). The training begins with a greeting and drill drill. Secret documents belonging to the department are stored in the city department of the city of Samarkand, documents for use in the service are stored in a separate safe in the department.


SPIRITUAL AND EDUCATIONAL QUESTIONS


  The military department of SamMI approved a plan for the 2020/2021 academic year to educate students in the spirit of military patriotism, and all activities are carried out on the basis of this plan. On behalf of the military prosecutor of Samarkand, every Thursday (prevention) round tables are regularly held on the prevention of crime and serious disciplinary violations and other topics, protocols are filled out. In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 3898 of August 4, 2018, every Friday "On the Day of Spiritual and Patriotism" regular spiritual and educational events are held. The department has banners created in the spirit of military patriotism, which also play a role in the education of students. In the schools and lyceums of Samarkand, professors and teachers of the department regularly take part in “Courage” lessons, spiritual, educational and sports events with the aim of educating youth in the spirit of patriotism. The staff of the department conducts social and political work on the basis of the plan and instructions of higher organizations for the military-patriotic education of youth loyalty to the Fatherland. The teaching officers took part in the activities of the institute with their patriotic speeches. In addition to this work, the tasks set by the Samarkand military garrison are being completed on time.


EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL WORK


  All documents specified in the Instruction on the organization and conduct of the educational process in military units of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan (order of the rector, order of the head of the department, etc.) are carried out in a timely manner, in a planned and established manner. The journal of classes and educational work is kept in accordance with the instructions in the order established for each group, while the journal of the professor-teacher and the journal of the group commander (headman) provided by the institute are kept in the same order, there are no shortcomings. Educational and methodical work is considered and approved by the methodological advice of the department. A visit to the department, conducting open classes, independent training of officers, training of command personnel, equipping classrooms, studying methodological and other documents are carried out according to the established plan. Trainings are organized and conducted on the basis of the SamMI work program for the 2020/2021 academic year and the training program for the reserve and reserve of the medical service (VUS-901000 and other VUS) among students of medical universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Academic work includes all types of training, current, intermediate and final control. Lectures and some practical classes are held using video projectors, educational films are shown, the rest of the practical classes are conducted by teachers directly using modern pedagogical technologies. Part of the practical training is carried out by the administration of the Central Military District and the Center for Training Junior Specialists of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to the regulations of the military department, developed on the basis of the Regulations on the rating system for assessing the knowledge of SamMI students, training is assessed on a 5-point scale and transferred to a 100-point system with a passing score of 60 points. There were no students who scored less than 60 points during the period of study. Self-directed learning is on the agenda, directly supervised by teachers, and taken into account. Training fees are calculated for 15 days. Cadets who have passed the State attestation, who have participated in practical training in shooting training and who have taken the Military Oath are allowed to participate in the training session. Meetings of the military department and scientific and methodological commissions are regularly held, at which IMZ, open classes, and reports are considered and taken into account. There are methodological developments on all topics. 450 hours of classroom time and 78 hours of classroom time.

The main tasks of the military department of the SamMI on the organization and conduct of the educational process are:

Complete and complete program of military training. high-quality performance; the study of military (military medical) disciplines based on the knowledge gained by students in the field of education; the sequence of sections of disciplines and curricula; generalization of tactical (tactical and special) training with other military disciplines; even distribution of the teaching load between the teaching staff; very reasonable use of the educational material and technical base for practical training of students.
