  The course of medical radiology SamMI was established on 05/02/2015 by order No. 353-U. The first head of the course in 2015-2016. was Ph.D. Normurodova Nodira Murodullaevna, 2016-2020 Akhmedov Yakub Amandullaevich, from 25.08.2020 Khamidov Obid Abdurakhmanovich.

  Khamidov Obid Abdurakhmanovich, head of the course "Medical Radiology" was born on January 16, 1985 in the Samara region of the Russian Federation. Ethnicity Uzbek. In 2008 he graduated from the medical faculty of the Samarkand Medical Institute, in 2014 he received a master's degree in medical radiology. 2014 - 2018 SamMI 1 - Clinic of the X-ray and radiological department, ultrasound doctor, 2018 - present Head of the Department of X-ray Radiology. Head of the course of medical radiology from 25.08. Has more than 20 publications in domestic and foreign scientific journals. Author of 1 textbook for students and ultrasound doctors.

  Associate Professor Akhmedov Yakub Amandullaevich, Associate Professor of the course "Medical Radiology". Was born on March 1, 1950 in the city of Dzhambul of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Uzbek by nationality. In 1973 he graduated from the medical faculty of the Samarkand Medical Institute. In 1986 he graduated from a clinical internship at the Sechenov Moscow Medical Institute. From 1987 to 2016 he worked on the course of radiation diagnostics and radiation therapy at SamMI. In 2016-2020, he was the head of the course of medical radiology at SamMI. In 1997 he defended his thesis on «Диагностическая значимость микрокальцинатов в распознавание субклинического рака молочной железы». He has more than 70 publications in domestic and foreign scientific journals and conference proceedings. Author of 6 rationalization proposals and 4 textbooks for students and radiologists. In 2001 he was elected assistant professor of the course.

  Rustamov Umar Khaidarovich, assistant of the course "Medical Radiology". Born on April 14, 1957 in the city of Samarkand, Samarkand region. Tajik by nationality. In 1983 he graduated from the medical faculty of the Samarkand Medical Institute. In 1983-1984 doctor-therapist of the maternity hospital No. 2 of the city of Samarkand. In 1991-1997. Assistant of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Samarkand Medical Institute. In 1997-2001. Ultrasound doctor in the clinic of the obstetric complex of the SamMI clinic. 2001-present assistant of the course of medical radiology. In 1996 he defended his Ph.D. thesis. Has more than 10 publications in domestic and foreign scientific journals. Author of 1 textbook for students and ultrasound doctors.

  Ataeva Saodat Khurshedovna, assistant of the course "Medical Radiology". She was born on July 7, 1971 in the city of Samarkand. In 1995 she graduated from the medical faculty of the Samarkand Medical Institute. 1995-1996 clinical resident of the Samarkand city polyclinic №1. 2004 - present in. works as an ultrasound doctor in the consultative polyclinic of the 1st clinic of SamMI. 2011-2017 Assistant of the course of radiation diagnostics and radiation therapy at SamTI. He is currently a course assistant. In 2010 she defended her Ph.D. thesis. Has more than 8 publications in domestic and foreign scientific journals and conference proceedings. Author of 1 textbook for students and ultrasound doctors.

Spiritual and educational work


  Spiritual and educational work is carried out on the basis of an approved plan, according to which various events are held dedicated to historical dates, national holidays, sports competitions, etc. Various meetings are held with law enforcement agencies, spiritual centers and other partner organizations.
  To carry out these tasks, a supervisory board operates at the faculty, the activities of which are carried out on the basis of an approved plan. Each group of the faculty is assigned a curator from among experienced teachers. Together with the curators, the cadets take an active part in mass events, hold cultural holidays, visit historical monuments and sights of Samarkand, theaters and museums.
  Each curator has a work plan, on the basis of which he conducts various activities with a group of cadets. The dean and deputy deans of the faculty regularly meet with group curators and cadets. Every Thursday classes begin with an introductory hour.

EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL WORK


  The medical radiology course includes advanced training and specialization in ultrasound and radiology. Trainees improve their qualifications in ultrasound and X-ray examinations. In addition, the doctors of the polyclinic specialize in ultrasound and X-ray examinations. From 2020, clinical residents will be admitted to the medical radiology course.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH


  The course staff conduct research in the field of pulmonology, arthrology, endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology.
Clinical bases: The main clinical base of the course of medical radiology is the X-ray and radiological department of the 1st clinic of SamMI. These training bases include retrodiagnostic and radionuclide diagnostics. In the ultrasound rooms, cadets and clinical residents improve their knowledge and skills in practice. In addition, the course has contracts with modern private medical and diagnostic centers in Samarkand, where clinical interns continue to improve their qualifications.
  Therapeutic work: Together with the staff of the course and the staff of the X-ray and radiological department of the clinical base of the 1st clinic of SamMI, the cadets participate in conducting radiation studies.
